The nation lived through the threat of and consequences of terror in the early years of the twenty first century. And while the citizens of the United States desired safety and security, they also wanted to ensure that we “went back to normal” as quickly as possible. That is how we dealt with terror twenty years ago, but it isn’t the way that we have dealt with terror in 2021.
The citizens of the United States allowed their lives to be disrupted, allowed our futures to be thrown into disarray and somehow along the way gave up our personal rights and responsibilities.
Citizens of the free world must work together to push back on the counterfeit terror that has infected our nations. At the same time, we must dismiss the terrorists that demand our attention every minute of every day. We must take a new path, a path that will lead to liberty and actual justice in nations across the globe.
